Have you received from the devil the seed of understanding?
“It’s like trying to fill up a bucket with water. The bucket has a tiny hole at the bottom, and no matter how much water you pour in, it always seems like the bucket is empty.”Â
Key Points:
- Mindfulness allows us to improve our management of thoughts and feelings
- Because your story reveals your views of yourself and life, your understanding of the past in general may be your limit
- 10 specific prejudices may be holding you back
- Underneath your pain, trauma, and mental filters you already are the person you want to be
“I WAS STUCK”

My mental health was gone and I was broken, disgusted and dead inside. Then I found mindfulness. Mindful self inquiry showed me that change is possible, that I don’t have to live by other people’s rules or society’s expectations. It helped me grow and for that I will be forever grateful. Now I’m happier, healthier and more productive than ever before. It’s not easy, but it is possible.
It started when I asked myself, “Is change possible? Are you destined to live by others’ rules, social norms and following in the footsteps of a broken version of yourself?”
Do you intend to be shaped by the opinions of others and the norms of society, or do you want to grow into a complete, happy version of yourself? Is it possible to change your life or is it already set? Can you live the life of your dreams?
It is like asking if there is a proven method to plant a seed in order to grow a flower. The answer is yes, there is a proven method, but it requires time, effort, and patience.
I will share this proven method with you. It is a step-by-step process that will allow you to transform your life into one of peace and happiness.
You can use this method for mindfulness to improve mental health. Mindful yoga can transform your mindset and through changing your mind you will change your life.
Remember, you might be able to cover up the problem, but it’s not going to fix the underlying issue.
It’s like when you take care of a plant. The more you give it what it needs, the healthier it becomes. Similarly, the more you focus on mindfulness, the healthier your mind becomes.
The stories we tell ourselves: how they shape us
The story I tell myself is that I am a survivor. I have been through some tough times, but I am still here. I am stronger for it. My past has made me who I am and I will continue to grow and change as life happens.
The past can be a great teacher. It can show us where we’ve been and how far we’ve come. It can also be a reminder of the choices we’ve made, both good and bad. The present is full of opportunity. It’s up to us to seize the day and make the most of it. The future is always uncertain, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t plan for it. Our stories are what make us who we are.
What experiences have been the most meaningful to you? You use them to create your principles and beliefs. You find meaning in your past experiences and use them to come up with your own sense of self.
Think about how circumstances throughout your life have influenced your ideas, attitudes, worldview, and understanding of the world around you. You use your accumulated experiences to determine your beliefs, behavior, and values. Your past experiences shape you.
For example, if you have ever been hurt, you might think about how that has made you more careful in the future.
I am careful with my heart because I know how much it can hurt. I am kind to others because I know what it feels like to be treated badly. I try to live in the moment because I don’t want to miss out on anything life has to offer.Â

Welcome
We open 7 days a week – 10am to 8pm daily. And from 8pm to 10am nightly.
Your past experiences have helped shape who you are today. Just like a plant grows and changes over time, so do people.Â
Everyone’s life story is different, and everyone learns different things from their own experiences. Just like reading a good book can teach you something new, your past experiences can teach you things about yourself that you didn’t know before.
“Just like a tree grows and changes over time based on the conditions around it, your life experiences have influenced who you are.”
You view your life through the lens of your perspective, and it shapes how you see the world. Your values guide you in making decisions, and they serve as the foundation of who you are.
We all have a story. They may be different, but they all play a part in shaping us. Our past experiences, present circumstances and future goals all contribute to the person we are today. The stories we tell ourselves can be positive or negative, but either way they help to define us.
The choices we make throughout our lives are all influenced by the stories we tell ourselves. Whether we realize it or not, these stories are always shaping and molding us into the people we are today and in the future.
The stories we tell ourselves are like movies in our minds. They influence the choices we make throughout our lives. Some stories make us feel happy and some make us feel sad. Through being mindful of our inner story we can encounter the patterns, emotional filters, and biases that create suffering, anxiety, and stress.
Use mindfulness of your life story to:
-
Understand blind spots
-
Gain control of cycles of behavior may keep us stuck
-
Process traumas that are hampering us
-
Change what is contributing to our displeasure with ourselves and how we live
This involves mindful introspection and self-reflection.
By becoming aware of our interior narrative, we can find out about our unconscious faults, self-imposed limitations, unchosen beliefs and distortions that block us from happiness.
You can redefine your story and reshape yourself into the person you want to be. It starts with mindfulness, self-awareness and self-reflection.
Self-reflection is a powerful tool that can help us identify the areas in our lives where we may need improvement. Once we have identified these areas, we can begin to focus on what we want to achieve instead of what we don’t want. This process of setting goals and taking action steps to reach them can help us move forward in our lives and achieve our dreams.
Growth can be difficult, but happiness is worth it
It’s like trying to grow a plant. You have to understand what the plant needs in order to make it thrive. In the same way, if you understand yourself you will naturally find better ways to think, act and take action.
Making lasting changes to our lives starts with understanding who and what we are. The first step in that process is understanding how our past is shaping our future.
Lasting changes positively impact your life:
- Eliminate the source of stress at its root
- Achieve clarity of thought and mind
- Improve your creative abilities
- Have better relationships
- Understand how you see yourself and how it influence the way you feel
- Replace behaviors that are holding you back.
In order to make lasting changes in your life, it is essential that you first take the time to understand yourself. By understanding our story and who we are, we can begin to move forward in a positive direction. Too often, we try to make changes in our lives without first understanding what has led us to this point. As a result, we are not able to sustain the changes for very long.
One of the interesting things about human beings is our capacity to interpret information and give it extra meaning. This can be a good thing, as it allows us to see things in new and creative ways. However, it can also be a bad thing, as it can lead us to be biased by our mental approach.
It’s easy to get caught up in our own thoughts and feelings and forget that they don’t always reflect reality. It’s important to understand that we can distort reality by thinking or feeling something that isn’t actually true. Just because we think or feel something doesn’t mean it’s necessarily real. We can reinterpret things as something else, which can quickly take us off the true path.
“Mindfulness is an act of compassion towards ourselves. You find what no longer serves you.” -Ryan W.D. Parenti
Start by exploring if your preconceived notions could be false and how that influences your behavior. Whatever your presumptions, keep in mind that thinking or feeling that something is true doesn’t signify that it is. By improving your understanding of the factors that can skew your perception and judgment, you will be able to boost your trust within yourself and increase your ability to have a more fulfilling life.
We all have a personal lens through which we see the world and it shapes important aspects of your life.
- You develop perspective from individual experiences, beliefs, and values
- We don’t always see things as they really are
- You interpret information and give it extra meaning
- Can lead to bias in our thinking
By understanding our own biases, we can learn to see the world in a new, more objective light.
Going Beyond The Limits

If you’re like most people, you probably think that you’re in control of your life. You make decisions about what to do, where to go, and who to be with. But what if I told you that there’s more to it than that? Your mental patterns can actually control you and the ways in which they can control you is virtually infinite.
From the moment we’re born, we start developing mental patterns. We can be controlled by our past, our present, and our future. We can be controlled by our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions. We can be controlled by what we believe, what we think, and what we feel.
This can lead to repeating patterns of behavior that may not be beneficial. If we’re not aware of these patterns, they can continue to control us without our knowledge.
In order to live a life that is free from the control of mental patterns, we must first understand how they work. Once we understand how they work, we can then begin to break free from their hold on us.
Do you know who you are, or are you just a product of your past?
Are you really living your life, or just going through the motions?
Have our experiences shaped us more than we realize?
It’s like you are a present, wrapped up in layers and layers of paper. Once you start to peel back the paper, you find the most beautiful, perfect gift underneath.
“It’s like you have a treasure chest full of gold, but it’s buried under a pile of garbage. You just need to dig through the garbage to find the treasure.”
In our fast-paced, constantly-connected world, it’s easy to forget what’s truly important in life. But there are those who have activated their life path and are actively working on their contribution to their home, society and world. They’ve overcome all the blocks and are now giving their gifts freely. What is the secret to becoming one of them?
In order to live our best lives, it is important that we clear out the things which no longer serve us. This can be limiting emotions, negative thoughts or toxic relationships. By doing this, we allow ourselves to overcome the stuck places that hold in negativity. Only when we do this, can we truly start to live our best lives.
We all have an innate desire to be our best selves. We want to be kind, wealthy and successful. However, sometimes we can get in our own way. We can be covered up by our past or our programming. But if we do the work to uncover the filters, we can become our greatest selves.
By being more mindful, individuals can let go of the past and move forward into the future with a sense of gratitude and compassion. If you’re struggling with negative emotions and mental triggers, it’s time to take out the garbage and replace it with grace, faith, and joy. Just start by being mindful of trauma and emotional triggers. Then, you might find yourself moving forward with ease and flow.
It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget who we are at our core. Most people are covered up with filters that were created by past experiences and programming. But the truth is, we already are everything we need to be. We just need to uncover our true selves that have been covered up by years of programming and societal expectations.
Despite the fact that most people are obscured underneath deep layers of pain, trauma, and mental filters, underneath all of that, you’re kind, pleasant, and your ideal self. If you want to uncover the filters and become your greatest self, it takes work. But it is so worth it to finally be at peace with yourself.

Without the shackles of the past, you are stronger than ever before. You already are your best self, it’s just that all those things are in the way. Clearing away the layers of damaged programming, false beliefs, and identities will make everything clearer to you.Â
You already are. You just need to let go of the false perceptions that have got in the way. This is part 1 of a companion article. Click Here to Read Part 2.
